We are seeking highly motivated, skilled and experienced individuals to join our UK Corporate Account Field Service Team and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to support our ever expanding business. This role will help to deliver the highest possible level of maintenance, service, engineering support and customer care. We are looking to hire engineers located in the south of England for regional based roles.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Carry out scheduled Preventative maintenance and servicing of materials handling equipment
- Fault diagnosis & repair of materials handling equipment
- Liaising with Combilift support functions, with regards to issues identified in the field
- Accurately complete service reports & job sheets via Combilift support systems
- Ensure accurate identification & timely ordering of parts via Combilift support systems
- Return of parts where appropriate through Combilift processes and procedures
- Carry out all repair and service work in line with relevant Service Level Agreements and Combilift standards ensuring the highest possible level of customer satisfaction
- Ensuring customer relationships are maintained through high standards of customer service, communication and personal presentation
- Travel as necessary
- Overtime where required
- Ensure all company and customer health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensure company vehicle is maintained and well presented at all times
- Van stock levels to be managed accurately
- Act as a Company Ambassador at all times ensuring the highest standards of presentation are met
- To visit the Combilift factory/HQ as required
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Highly competitive compensation package in line with market, experience and skill set. Overtime opportunities. Contributory UK pension scheme.
Person Specification:
We are looking for electrical, hydraulic & mechanically biased engineers from all types of maintenance/service background specifically forklift, mobile plant, general automotive technicians, HGV, agricultural or ex forces military vehicle engineers. The ideal candidate will hold a clean driving license. They will also have experience of working in a customer facing environment and be used to working unsupervised.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Mechanical/Engineering/Hydraulic/Electrical knowledge and experience is required.
- Knowledge of Combilift products is an advantage but not essential. Product training will be given.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work both, as an individual and as part of a team is essential.
- Must be a quick learner and have a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be willing to work additional hours to complete job.
- Occasional overnight stays are required.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- IT Skills are required.
- Ability to do light welding is an advantage, but not necessary.
