HV Cable Jointer – 12 month contract – South of England – Outside IR35 – September start Hunter Philips are partnered with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a HV Cable Jointer. You will be responsible for instillation, testing, commissioning and jointing on the underground networks. Responsibilities:Instillation and refurbishment of HV equipment Carry out LV and HV cable jointing, terminating, and associated works on SSEN’s distribution network Undertake fault location, diagnosis, and repair of underground cable systemsWork to SSEN’s safety rules, operational procedures, and quality standards.Prepare and maintain work sites, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.Complete all work related documentation accurately and on time (job packs, permits, test records).Liaise with Senior Authorised Persons for permit to work and switching requirements.Operate plant and equipment relevant to cable jointing works.Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales.Logistics:September start date All inclusive day rate, outside IR35 Monday – Friday SSEN South 12 month contract Requirements & certification:SSEN Authorised at 11kV.
