This role offers the chance to work within large interdisciplinary teams across the globe, engaging in everything from construction compliance to research-focused heritage preservation initiatives.Job DescriptionChronicle Heritage is seeking a full-time permanent Built Environment Team Lead for our International Heritage Program, including Chronicle Heritage Arabia and Chronicle Heritage UK. The Team Lead is expected to oversee built heritage work in the Middle East, UK, and other International locations. The role will report to the International Heritage Regional Principal and collaborate with other Team Leads. The Built Environment Team Lead will oversee a team of multidisciplinary staff, including those from archaeology, architecture, conservation, and urban planning. The ideal candidate will line manage and mentor their team to conduct a variety of heritage-related project types, including desk-based assessments, heritage impact assessments, historic building recordings, condition assessments, structural assessments, heritage master plans, heritage and conservation management plans, and other technical work.In addition to team management, this position will also encompass business development; project management; liaising with clients, international planning authorities, and relevant stakeholders; financial management of projects; designing and managing the delivery of projects; acting as technical guide for clients and team; reviewing and developing others in the team. The successful candidate will be expected to offer clear, consistent, and thoughtful advice to colleagues across diverse disciplines to help achieve project goals.Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing built heritage advice on major projects, experience independently leading a team of heritage professionals, and be excited to take on the challenge of built heritage consultancy in a dynamic international environment.Hire Type: Full-time, salariedSchedule: Monday–Friday, standard Middle Eastern or European business hours; occasional weekend work, as necessaryLocation: Saudi Arabia/United Kingdom (Remote).
