The Role
An established aerospace organisation is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager to support delivery across multiple civil aircraft programmes. This is a key role within a fast‐paced, customer‐facing environment, focused on supplier performance, quality, and on‐time delivery.
You will manage a portfolio of suppliers, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products meet quality, cost and delivery requirements, while supporting supplier development and risk mitigation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing supplier performance to ensure on‐time and on‐quality delivery
- Working closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and capability development
- Ensuring supplier and product compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
- Acting as the supply chain quality voice within multi‐functional teams (including engineering, programmes and procurement)
- Supporting investigation and resolution of quality and delivery issues in a dynamic environment
- Engaging with external partners and suppliers across Europe when required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience within supply chain or supplier management roles
- Strong understanding of supply chain and/or quality principles
- Experience using problem‐solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, 9S, Ishikawa, 5 Whys)
- Good project management knowledge
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‐moving environment
- Industrial or manufacturing background preferred (industry flexible)
