THE ROLE

  • Carry out site surveys, scope upgrades, and plan smart building integrations
  • Install and configure BMS hardware: controllers, sensors, field devices, and panels
  • Integrate HVAC, metering, and building systems using BACnet, Modbus, KNX, MQTT
  • Connect building systems to cloud platforms via APIs, gateways, and IP networks
  • Commission systems including Niagara 4, Trend IQVision, Siemens PX, Distech
  • Troubleshoot data flow, connectivity, and system performance issues
  • Structure and validate building data to support analytics and optimisation
  • Work independently across multiple sites, delivering high-quality technical outcomes

THE PROFILE

  • Strong BMS background (installation, commissioning, or integration)
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens, Distech or similar
  • Solid understanding of building protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX)
  • Comfortable working with IP networks, gateways, and system connectivity
  • Exposure to MQTT, APIs, JSON, or cloud platforms (AWS or similar) highly desirable
  • Electrical background beneficial (NVQ Level 3 / 18th Edition preferred, not essential)
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Willing to travel across the UK as required

PACKAGE

£40,000–£80,000 DOE. Remote with UK-wide travel | Full-time or contract. Immediate / flexible start. Expenses covered.
