We are seeking experienced Site Engineers (both Civils and Structural) to join our teams in North East and North West of England. This role reports directly to the Site Agent/Project Manager and is responsible for coordination of various stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with contract terms, negotiating contract conditions, and mitigating potential risks. Responsible for monitoring the progress of projects from beginning to end; from design & planning through to construction and handover using RAMS.
Key Accountabilities
- Health & Safety (H&S)
- Treat Health & Safety (H&S) as a non-negotiable value on every level ensuring that all projects are delivered with H&S at the forefront.
- Keep up to date with environmental matters, and be aware of policy and developments in this area.
- Monitor all aspects of H&S on site such as safety of working equipment, PPE etc.
- Report all accidents and near misses as per the current reporting procedures.
- Assist with H&S investigations.
- Environmental
- Take care for the environment and comply with SEPA General Binding Rules.
- Report all environmental incidents, near misses and hazards to the appropriate person.
- Suggest potential improvements to environmental management within the company to the relevant person.
- Assisting with Investigations if required.
- Quality
- Setting processes and procedures and ensuring they are implemented.
- Adopting high-quality standards in line with company values and expectations.
- Ensure Checklists are in place and completed as and when works are undertaken.
- Commercial
- Manage costs for the contracts and projects.
- Maximise contract and project value and minimise wastage/costs.
- Administer the programme and react to time deadline achievement, ensuring that work is completed to deadline.
- Leadership
- Delegating Tasks.

- Managing Performance and reporting on any issues.

- Complying with the Security Policy and associated procedures.
