Quality Engineer – Manufacturing, QA & Continuous Improvement

This is a hands‐on Quality Engineering role where you'll play a key part in ensuring manufacturing excellence, driving quality improvements, and supporting compliance across a fast‐paced production environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and control plans
  • Manage non‐conforming materials, ensuring traceability, containment and resolution
  • Lead root cause analysis for internal defects and customer complaints (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions through to effective closure
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and Management of Change processes
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Deliver training to operators and team leaders on quality standards and best practice
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering and CI teams across the site

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, root cause, Pareto, etc.)
  • Understanding of working in ISO‐certified or regulated environments
  • Experience using ERP/QMS systems (e.g. SAP) for quality and material management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across shop floor and leadership
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem‐solving
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Quality or a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
