About the client
Our client is the third-largest banking institution in the United States that is commonly cited as being too big to fail.
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java (Backend) and React (Frontend) to join our team, with strong LLM experience (Claude preferred).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, with a strong focus on server-side engineering
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs
- Lead backend development initiatives and enforce best coding practices
- Contribute to the React frontend, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems
- Work hands-on with LLM/AI technologies (Claude preferred)
- Mentor UI developers and guide frontend architecture decisions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimization
