We are seeking an experienced Piping Site Engineer to support piping construction and installation activities on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising installation works, resolving technical and construction-related issues, and ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications.
This role requires strong site coordination skills, the ability to interpret engineering designs and drawings, and experience managing quality documentation and compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Previous experience as a Piping Site Engineer within construction or industrial installation environments
- Strong understanding of piping construction and installation activities
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and design models
- Experience managing technical queries and site-based engineering issues
- Knowledge of quality documentation processes including LTQRs
- Strong awareness of site safety and quality standards
- Desirable
- Experience working within regulated or heavy industrial sectors such as nuclear, oil & gas, energy, or utilities
- Familiarity with mechanical completion and commissioning processes
- Experience supervising subcontractors and installation teams
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related discipline
- CSCS / CCNSG / Safety Passport desirable
- SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous
