V7 is supporting a leading client in the IT space who is seeking a Blockchain Developer with deep expertise in building secure, user-focused decentralised applications. This is a fully remote, 3-month rolling contract (outside IR35) focused on developing Web3 infrastructure and smart contract solutions in close collaboration with UX and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy smart contracts for DeFi, NFTs, or tokenized platforms (Solidity, EVM-compatible)
  • Integrate Web3 libraries (e.g. Web3.js, Ethers.js) with frontend dApps and wallet providers
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless and intuitive interactions between smart contracts and user interfaces
  • Optimize smart contracts for security, performance, and low gas usage
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate in audits and peer reviews

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain development
  • Proven track record with Solidity, Ethereum-based contracts, and dApp development
  • Familiarity with wallet integration patterns (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  • Understanding of decentralised user flows and Web3 security best practices
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially alongside UX designers and frontend developers

Bonus: Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions, The Graph, or decentralised storage (IPFS/Filecoin)
