About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Medicine SpR to join the medical team at an NHS Client of ours. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy acute hospital environment, managing a broad range of medical presentations while working alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and complex medical conditions
  • Support the delivery of high-quality inpatient medical care across medical wards and acute admissions
  • Participate in ward rounds, patient reviews, and treatment planning
  • Supervise and support junior doctors within the department
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, and wider multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Contribute to safe discharge planning and continuity of patient care

What We’re Looking For

  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
  • Previous UK General Medicine experience at SpR level or above
  • Valid ALS certification
  • Strong communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced acute medical environment
