The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are seeking a Billing Assurance Analyst to support and enhance our revenue assurance capabilities. You will play a critical role in protecting revenue by identifying unbilled usage, correcting errors, and driving improvements across billing systems and processes. This role spans the full customer life cycle and requires a strong understanding of B2B energy supply, including complex contracts, metering arrangements, and industry data flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate that all customers are fully and accurately billed for all energy usage and contracted services.
  • Investigate and resolve anomalies such as incorrect account or meter setup, missing or incorrect tariffs, or unbilled consumption on the system.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Services to identify and address root causes of billing issues.
  • Extract, clean, and analyse billing data to detect anomalies, monitor trends, and ensure billing completeness.
  • Prepare and contribute to regular reporting on billing assurance activities, and risk mitigation actions.
  • Troubleshoot system and data issues that may lead to revenue leakage.
  • Support UAT and regression testing during capability rollouts and system changes.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in billing, revenue assurance, or data analysis within the UK energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific processes including metering, settlements, and data flow management.
  • Proficient in excel and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python.
  • High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Pattern

In this role you will be able to work on a hybrid pattern, with Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday and Friday at home. Our standard office hours are 0830 – 1700, Monday to Friday.
