The role at a glance:
- Line-manage a team of Paralegals and Apprentices within the Finance & Projects group
- Oversee quality assurance, workflow allocation, and complex project delivery
- Act as a key contact for internal clients, managing instructions and resource planning
- Play a leading role in coaching, feedback, and career development conversations
- Contribute to innovation, process improvement, and business development initiatives
- Step in for the Team Leader or Senior Manager when required
- Get involved in fee-earning work within transactional/corporate legal areas (training provided if needed)
What we’re looking for:
- Solid background as a Paralegal, ideally within corporate, finance, or transactional law
- Prior experience working in a large legal environment, with exposure to fast-paced, high-quality matters
- Some supervisory or mentoring experience preferred, though not essential
- Commercial awareness, excellent organisation, and a collaborative mindset
