An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Asset & Aviation Finance Associate (3–5 PQE) to join the award-winning aviation and structured finance team of a Magic Circle firm in London. This is a rare chance to become part of a market-leading practice renowned globally for its role on the most sophisticated, cross-border transactions in the aviation, transportation, and wider asset finance space.
About the Role: Working closely with top-ranked partners and a deep bench of senior associates, you’ll advise on a wide range of complex and high-value matters, including:
- Aircraft financing and leasing (including PDP facilities, sale & leasebacks, and ECA-backed financings)
- Structured finance and securitisations involving aviation and other transportation assets
- Cross-border syndicated loans and portfolio acquisitions
- Restructurings, workouts and enforcement strategies
Work for a stellar client base: major airlines, lessors, export credit agencies, investment banks, and funds. You’ll have the opportunity to take on high levels of responsibility from day one, with exceptional exposure to headline deals and client interaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- UK-qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE
- Strong experience in asset finance and/or aviation finance gained at a leading City or international firm
- Solid understanding of cross-border financing structures and deal execution
- Excellent technical ability and commercial mindset
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit, high-performance team
