We are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Art and Design as a maternity cover for up to one year. In this role, you will be course leader for level 1 and 2 Art and Design, contributing to achieving excellence in teaching and learning through innovative and excellent practice within an exciting and specialist subject area. You will be expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment.

You will deliver teaching and learning on all levels, course leading Level 1 and 2, with some hours on the Level 3 programmes in art and design and offer current and relevant industry/practitioner skills. You must be able to teach a range of specialist traditional art & design skills including drawing, painting, general 3D, ceramics, with some digital skills at an advantage. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
