Shape specification standards and cladding expertise with a collaborative, industry-leading teamWe are seeking a communicative and technically skilled individual to take a lead role in specification writing and cladding expertise.This person will coordinate in-house training on specification writing and manage bespoke guidance notes within the NBS Chorus software platform. The role also involves managing the interface between NBS Chorus and BIM modelling software to ensure smooth integration across the practice.This well-established, multidisciplinary architecture practice offers a diverse portfolio across many sectors, providing an excellent environment for technical development and collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and maintain bespoke clauses and guidance notes within the NBS Chorus software platform.Write and review specifications to uphold a consistently high standard across all projects.Collaborate with technical directives, including Design Delivery Group (DDG) initiatives and presentations.Provide technical support to staff across all grades and disciplines within the practice.Prepare and deliver in-house training seminars on specification writing, covering both general guidance and practical use of NBS Chorus software.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as an Architectural Technician or Specification Writer.Strong background in the architectural sector, with solid experience producing NBS documentation and construction details.Excellent technical ability with a detailed understanding of UK building regulations.Expert knowledge of NBS Chorus software and experience managing BIM software interfaces.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and support colleagues effectively.If you are passionate about technical excellence and specification writing, and want to work within a supportive, collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.
