Mission Essential is seeking a Target Analyst to support a dynamic team with the mission of the NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre (NIFC). This centre supports SACEUR and subordinate commanders of ACO with timely, effective full-spectrum network enabled intelligence in support of the planning and execution of NATO operations, especially NRF-CJTF.
Advanced Target Development (ATD) Analysts conduct highly specialized analysis to produce targeting products in support of NATO operations and planning. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducts Weaponeering, Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) and Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) to support crisis planning and contingency operations.
- Works closely with the J2 to provide ATD solutions and standardized products to meet operational needs.
- Achieves and maintains individual certification in Weaponeering, TCM, and/or CDE.
- Utilizes specific targeting tools to conduct complex analysis of targeting data.
- Participates in NATO collective training events.
- Available to deploy for up to one month for liaison officer duty to facilitate target support for NRF or CJTF operations.
- Acts as a principal point of liaison and centre of development for advanced targeting in NATO.
- Through close liaison with NATO nations, supports federated ATD support to crisis planning and contingency operations.
- Supports ATD related briefings and exchanges with Targeting Communities and NATO Nations.
- Augments the NIFC OIC 24/7 Watch as required by the NIFC COM.
- May require operational deployments and/or TDY assignments both within and without NATO's boundaries.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Mid (Journeyman) requires 3-10 years of experience and at minimum a BA/BS degree.
- Senior requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and a minimum of a MA/MS degree.
- Previous experience in targeting is required. Experience could have been gained either through national training courses; involvement in intelligence support to target material production; management of a target development work center; targeting experience in joint and multinational operations; developing doctrine; or served as a targeting instructor.
- National Targeting Certification / Experience.
- Intelligence - Imagery Interpretation.

- Previous experience in any area of Advanced Targeting is highly desired.
