The Complete Education Solution (TCES) is a Social Enterprise Group providing specialist therapeutic, inclusive education through our schools and services for neurodivergent pupils since 1999. Despite working with with some of the most complex children across the UK, we have never permanently excluded any child in over 25 years. Not one. We never give up.We are excited to announce that we are looking for an experienced Admissions Manager to join our Business Development Team for the new academic year. This is a key position to help drive TCES forwards and to ensure we support as many children and young people as possible who need our specialist schools and services.Salary: £41,287 – £45,198 per annum (TCES Salary Band 4), plus opportunities for increases based on appraisal cycle, company pension and employee benefitsLocation: TCES Central Services, Wimbledon, with regular travel to school sites across London.Contract & hours: Hybrid full-time role, with a maximum of 2 days per week working from home. The Admissions Manager (AM) is a senior role within the department, leading a team of 3 people and answering into the Commercial Director. They are expected to lead on processing all referrals and consultations sent by Local Authorities for our three London schools (all recently \’Outstanding\’ in every area), and our completely unique Create service for high-risk and vulnerable young people in the local community. Through effective management of the team, the AM will drive conversion rates, minimise lead times and meet/exceed annual placement targets for the four London based schools and services. As well as managing this process – we receive hundreds of consultations each year across the four \’in-person\’ schools and services – TCES is constantly reviewing admissions criteria and referral processes to stay ahead of the ever-changing SEND and Local Authority landscapes. The successful candidate will also be expected to lead on this and experience of developing admissions processes would be a benefit.The successful candidate will have worked in school admissions and/or a commercial team for a number of years, ideally working with Local Authorities. A good understanding of the SEND sector and relevant legislation is also essential for this role to be able to lead on referral panels, cross-examining assessments, current Education, Health and Care plans and pupil needs, so that placements are always assessed accurately and thoroughly.
