Stress Analysis Team Leader
Reporting to the senior engineering manager, you will be responsible for leading analysts at a global level. You will be responsible for:
- Contributing to overall strategy for the engineering organization and managing complex issues within functional areas of expertise.
- Interpreting customer and company requirements for effective deployment of resources, tools, and analysis methodologies.
- Effective planning and assignment of analysis activities across internal and external resources.
- Managing team performance with annual objectives, coaching, and appraisals.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
- Experience with finite element stress analysis of designs.
- Strong knowledge about most common FEA and calculations tools, e.g. Ansys and Pro Mechanica.
- Previous experience in positions as stress/structural engineer, preferably with a system-oriented view.
- Significant experience from the Oil and Gas industry combined with experience from other relevant industries.
- Strong technical background and knowledge of subsea products and projects and stress/structural engineering procedures and methodologies.
- Robust knowledge of the main industry standards (e.g. API, ISO, ASME, DNV, NORSOK).
- Knowledge of design and manufacturing/fabrication processes/materials.
