WellGear are looking for a suitable candidate to join their fast growing and dynamic business. The successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.

The successful candidate's role will be to perform maintenance duties on a wide variety of equipment. On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve maintaining a range of low and high voltage equipment, control systems, and data acquisition systems. The right person must be self-motivated and enjoy working on such equipment. The role will be predominantly offshore but with an initial training period onshore in the workshop and occasional onshore periods in the workshop where required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance and testing of all drilling related electrical systems
  • Testing of data acquisition and measurement systems
  • Working with the maintenance management system
  • Maintenance and control of the control systems on standalone hydraulic power packs and pumps
  • Carrying out periodic inspections
  • Carrying out repairs
  • Support with connecting systems on location
  • Assisting in day-to-day operations on/offshore

  • CompEx EX01 – EX04 Certified
  • Experience of and signed off to work on Shell Platforms
  • MIST
  • Offshore Survival
  • UK Medical

Rewards: A competitive remuneration package will be awarded to the right candidate, including company pension and healthcare scheme. Salary £55-75k depending on experience.
