About the Role
As a Financial Remedy Consent Order Drafter, you will be a part of a team of drafters who work together and consult each other when required. You will deal directly with our divorce specialists who are the customer facing side of the business.
This role is a great opportunity for you if you have a minimum of two years PQE and would like to grow and develop. Working under the supervision of our drafting team lead, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our core mission through the efficient drafting of consent orders and liaison with our divorce specialists.
As a Financial Remedy Consent Order Drafter, you will:
- Draft consent orders for our customers, couples who agree on what they want to achieve,
- Liaise with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
You will join a supportive and progressive team focused on outputs rather than hours spent at a desk.
The role has flexible hours, working minimum of 25 hours per week over 4 days from home or in a hybrid pattern (office in East Sheen, SW14 8AE or 33 Holborn, EC1N 2HT), agreeable at interview stage.
- Minimum of 2+ years PQE,
- Background in family law in England and Wales, and hands-on experience of drafting financial remedy orders,
- Pragmatic and confident approach to drafting,
- Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail,
- Proficiency and confidence working with IT systems and technology,
- Self-motivation, ability to plan, manage and take accountability for your own workload,
- Right to work in the UK.
- Salary: Full time: £35,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on skills and experience,
- Flexible working schedule – must be available for team meetings each week and to liaise with internal colleagues during core working hours, otherwise fully flexible hours,
