Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of our \’learning through play’ educational ethos and the N Curriculum;
- You will sensitively implement the pattern of the day routine;
- Support in the planning of innovative learning experiences that constantly challenge children\’s learning and development;
- Support in the completion of high-quality assessments and planning for the children within your care;
- Ensure that key transition periods within the room such as sleep times, mealtimes and outings occur smoothly;
- Meal time supervision and adhering to all of N’s mealtime policies to ensure we are keeping our children safe when served and eating food;
- Adhere to all policies and procedures;
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents;
- Promote and role-model and adhere to safeguarding procedures and the importance of child welfare
- Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the day;
- Ensure that daily H&S-related tasks and checks happen promptly & thoroughly with any concerns followed up;
- Ensure all policies, procedures are known and followed.
- Be committed to continual reflective practice;
- Be accountable and implement behavioural safety within the nursery;
- Responsible for always adhering to the company\’s H&S policy: “Statement of Intent\”
- Be a role model for exceptionally high standards, never cutting corners, thriving on feedback and leading on educational excellence.
Support nursery operations with ad-hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
