Clinical Trials Assistants are involved in exciting research, working with some of the most distinguished pharma companies in the UK and internationally. We offer a stimulating and rewarding career pathway for individuals looking to work alongside nurses and clinical staff to assist in all aspects of early phase clinical trials.
The role: You will support various studies involving patients and healthy volunteers, mainly in respiratory research, and participate in drug development programs across different therapeutic fields. Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures like blood pressure and ECG recordings, supporting pharmacy and laboratory work, trial administration, and ward housekeeping. Prior experience in clinical trials is not mandatory. Effective communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in the field are essential. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights, is required.
