Link3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in DE55. This is a full-time, year-long maternity cover role starting in January 2026, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
- Deliver lessons and interventions under the direction of the class teacher or independently as required
- Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the teacher
- Provide high-quality support for pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience supporting teaching in a primary school setting
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
