We are working with a number of local nursery chains who require additional Early Years Practitioners on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, energetic, and creative individual to join our network of outstanding nursery teams. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children, following the EYFS curriculum and all safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education to children aged 0β5 years
- Implement engaging and creative teaching methods to stimulate learning and development
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
- Actively promote positive child development and behaviour management strategies
- Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure the nursery meets all safeguarding standards and health and safety regulations
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching and Learning, or a related field
- A minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) β evidence of these will be required
- Paediatric First Aid (Desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, or current enrolment in a relevant childcare course
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles
- A genuine passion for working with children and delivering exceptional care and education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive attitude towards teamwork and continuous improvement

- Right to Work: All candidates will be required to demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK as part of our safeguarding and compliance checks.
- DBS: All applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, if not already in possession of one registered on the Update Service. The cost of a DBS will be covered by the applicant.
