Fully qualified SEN TA Required. I have the pleasure of working with this one form entry school in Rugby, supporting them with their recruitment needs for the rest of the academic year. I am looking for a fully qualified, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time for the rest of the academic year. You will work closely with a child with Autism and behavioural needs, while also supporting the class teacher as a general TA. Your time will be split across year groups, making the role exciting and enjoyable. This position requires 100% dedication and focus. There will be challenges, but the support of the school and other staff members is always there. If you have experience working with pupils with additional needs and can handle the odd outburst without taking things to heart, I want to hear from you. No two days will be the same; some will be calmer than others, but you won’t get bored.

The Role:

  • Provide targeted 1:1 support for pupils in EYFS and KS1/KS2.
  • Deliver tailored interventions (e.g., communication, social development, fine motor skills).
  • Adapt and implement activities aligned with pupils’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCO, external therapists, and families.
  • Monitor and track pupils’ progress, contributing to regular reviews.
  • Maintain a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
