We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We are looking for a motivated Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality education across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and preference. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Liaise with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils' academic and emotional development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including attending staff meetings and participating in school events.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 1–2 years of teaching experience within a primary school setting.
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Training: Familiarity with safeguarding practices, behaviour management strategies, and differentiated instruction.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage young learners.

To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Advanced Teaching Experience: Proven success in delivering outstanding outcomes in either KS1 or KS2.
  • Leadership or Subject Coordination: Experience leading a curriculum area or involvement in extracurricular initiatives.
  • Professional Development: Ongoing CPD including courses or certifications in phonics, SEND, or behaviour support.
