Link3 Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism to work across a network of welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, language graduates, or experienced educators looking to make an impact.
About the Role:- Supervise and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of Class Teachers, primarily in French, Spanish or German
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment
- Support students with language tasks and promote a love for language learning
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement
- Work flexibly across departments when MFL cover is not required
- A strong background or qualification in French, Spanish or German (essential)
- Prior experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.
- DBS: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, unless already registered on the Update Service. The cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant.
- For roles below Cover Supervisor level, a minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) is required, and evidence of these qualifications must be provided.
