Looking for a dynamic and innovative career in payroll? Our client in Carlisle is seeking a driven Payroll Assistant to join their established team and contribute to their customer-focused payroll service. There is scope for working either full or part-time.
You will be responsible for processing payrolls for clients accurately, efficiently, and promptly using Bright Pay. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for your assigned client portfolio, ensuring that client and employee records are maintained accurately.
Your responsibilities will include identifying areas for process improvement and managing HMRC queries or investigations. You will also handle queries from clients, HMRC, and internal colleagues professionally and courteously.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in accurately processing multiple payrolls with various pay frequencies. You should also have a proven ability to stay up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development and changes to legislation.
