This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.

Hours of Work: 35 Hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary: £34,606.00 to £43,123.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

The Role

Link is looking for an experienced ICT Officer to join the ICT Service Delivery team to deliver business-focused ICT Services by supporting the use of hardware (including desktop PCs, laptops, and mobile devices) and software (including operating systems, applications and utilities) in a networked and predominately cloud-based environment. The postholder will work with ICT Service Delivery colleagues to maintain and support line of business applications, network systems, records and logs.

As ICT Officer you will work within an IT Service Management framework (based on ITIL 4) to play a full part in providing the ICT Helpdesk practice by providing technical support to staff in the use of line of business applications and infrastructure on a variety of devices.

About You

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver first class ICT support to Link staff who are our internal customers. Due to the technical support abilities this role requires, it is essential you have an advanced level of IT skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products. You must also be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management principles and practice. Due to the range of equipment used across the business it is also essential that you have existing knowledge of hardware including PC, Laptop, Smartphone and Tablets. Demonstrable ability to create documentation and training materials for internal customers is also an essential requirement.
