The Business Analyst will be based on a hybrid basis from our stunning central Leeds office. This means you’ll need to be within a commutable distance to enable you to be in the office with colleagues and stakeholders each week, in this business centric role. You’ll undertake analysis to support business stakeholders, clearly articulating business needs, and applying commercial and technical skills and knowledge to support this. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting requirements and progressing these within the structured change environment. You will be responsible for producing KPI’s and management information, data analysis, documenting systems and processes and contributing to new initiatives as required. You will support stakeholders to facilitate decisions where needed.

Requirements:
- 3+ years’ successful, demonstrable experience in a business analysis role, within technology and/or business change roles and/or client onboarding
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
- A successful track-record of delivery of technology and business change
- Strong experience in the management of risk
- Experience of Azure DevOps
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the drive and desire to provide regular up-to-date and accurate verbal and written updates to key stakeholders
- An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Experience in Share Plans and Share Registration is desirable, but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Provide rationale for proposed changes, evaluating options and business benefits and establishing benefit measurement criteria
- Facilitate the capture, definition and development of business requirements through discussions, workshops and interviews with internal and external stakeholders to identify and understand the business problem or opportunity, using appropriate tools and techniques
- Produce and maintain documentation in accordance with accepted processes and in line with the organisational standards and guidelines
- Support the successful implementation of business and IT project success through effective stakeholder relationship management
- Understand the strategic context of business changes and translate these into business requirements
- Analyse and articulate changes in a way that is understood by both IT and business stakeholders
- Provide root cause analysis of problems using various techniques, including data modelling, user role modelling and customer journey maps
- Define the scope of changes and/or projects
- Model existing business process and define new or revised business processes
- Provide gap analysis between 'as-is' and 'to-be' states and document the actions required to implement new or improved processes to establish the required business need
- Ensure alignment between IT systems and processes
- Produce detailed, high-level business requirements documents that are complete, clear and concise and easy to understand by IT development resources and business stakeholders
- Manage requirements and associated changes to those requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Provide high quality verbal and written communications to stakeholders and where required, provide challenging arguments to support positive and pragmatic outcomes
- Convert business requirements into high-level test specifications and cases
- Define and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Perform data analysis in support of data migration and acquisition and to required standards for organisational ingestion into data warehouse etc
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the business acceptance of the solution
- Diligently follow-up any outstanding issues with business users or IT developers to ensure that work requests are completed promptly
- Identify and document any relevant risks and issues appropriate to the change being developed
