Service
The Link Academy team works primarily with people with complex backgrounds. The experience of these young people often results in low self‑esteem and confidence, poor mental health and destructive behaviours. By offering mental health and wellbeing programmes, independent living skills and a wide range of qualifications we give young people the tools to better manage their own mental health.
Job
The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Head of Practice and Participation to support achievement of high standards within the Link Academy team. You will ensure programmes in each local authority area are consistent in recruitment processes, training development and delivery and that they are in accordance with LinkLiving and SQA standards. Part of the role is to effectively manage a team of Development Workers to support participants and ensure a coordinated consistent approach.

About You
You will bring a good general standard of education, an SQA Assessor or Verifier qualification, and a genuine commitment to helping people reach their potential. You will have an understanding of how to engage and support hard‑to‑reach clients, build trust and create positive outcomes. You will be an effective communicator, with excellent written, verbal and IT skills, and experience developing and delivering engaging training programmes. You will have a non‑judgemental attitude, embrace diversity and bring a flexible approach. A strong team player who plans, prioritises and manages workload. A full driving licence and ability to travel between services are essential.
