Job Title: Self-Help Coach (Better than Well)
Contract: Fixed Term – 1 year (due to funding)
Location: Kirkcaldy office with travel across Fife
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
As a Self-Help Coach, you’ll deliver the Better than Well service, offering up to 8 one-to-one sessions to adults (16+) in Fife who’ve experienced childhood trauma and struggle to engage with other services. The role includes outreach to individuals affected by homelessness and delivering trauma-informed training to partner agencies.

What We’re Looking For:
You’re a compassionate, proactive individual with higher education and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. You bring:

A trauma-informed, person-centred approach
Experience with self-help resources and mental health support
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Flexibility, data management ability, and a practical mindset
A valid driving license and access to a car
Experience with CBT or similar techniques is desirable but not essential.
