Setting out Engineer in Tilbury

Link-Force Ltd is seeking a competent Contract Setting Out Engineer for our client, a reputable Residential Construction company based in England. This role involves visiting various construction sites to accurately set out and survey positions in accordance with engineering plans and specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing precise measurements and ensuring the alignment of structures as per project requirements, facilitating smooth progress and compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers and site teams to deliver technical support throughout the contract duration, which is initially for 2 years, with the possibility of negotiation regarding terms and duration.

• Proven experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer within the residential construction sector.
• Strong understanding of site surveying, setting out procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Proficiency in using surveying tools and equipment such as total stations, theodolites, and GPS devices.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with site teams and project stakeholders.
• Numerate with good attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Valid UK driving licence is desirable due to site travel requirements.
