We are looking for a talented Product Lifecycle Management Associate who will be responsible for supporting Product Life-Cycle Management (PLM) systems and processes across the organization. This role focuses on assisting with data management, system updates, and process documentation to ensure accurate product information throughout the lifecycle. This position is responsible for collaboration with internal teams (Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.) supporting the PLM process from product inception through production and eventually, product retirement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather data from internal partners to be used to add to or modify the product Cost, Price, Quote (CPQ) tools (i.e. Excel and / or ERP & CPQ).
  • Maintain comprehensive product data ensuring all necessary files are organized and accessible. Data may include costs, pricing, product images, engineering drawings, documents, technical specifications, corporate policy and procedure, quality documents etc.
  • Configure CPQ tools (i.e. Excel and / or ERP & CPQ) for use by Sales and Proposal Engineering (PE) teams.
  • Integrate PLM data with ERP and Manufacturing systems.
  • Create reports (manual or generated) from ERP and / or HubSpot to provide analysis data for the PLM team. Reports will be used to facilitate PLM discussions with sales, marketing and engineering including product offerings, sub-assemblies or optional components, and standardization discussions.
  • Update PLM documentation as needed under the guidance of the Product Lifecycle Manager (specifications, procedures, flowcharts, checklists or guides).
  • Provide first level support to internal users for process related issues and escalate as needed.
  • Support other PLM initiatives (training, communications, analysis, etc.).
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (e.g., Sciences, Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a business environment (internships or co-ops in a manufacturing or sales operations environment are acceptable).
  • Experience with CPQ, PLM, or ERP platforms such as Epicor CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP, Windchill, Teamcenter, etc. preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be essential; experience with data analysis or reporting tools is a plus. Experience working with formulas and macros in Excel preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic understanding of cost processes, product catalog and configuration, and quote generation.
  • Willingness to learn business application systems, logic building, or rule-based configuration tools used in CPQ platforms.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing product structures, BOMs, or product catalogs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and document business requirements and translate them into system logic.
  • Attention to detail- Thorough review to ensure accuracy in estimates, data, and reports.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal at all organizational levels.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
