We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist who will be responsible for the set-up, programming, and operation of the DMG Mori Dura Vertical 5100 with MAPPS IV controls.
Main Responsibilities:- Machine precision details on a 3 axis vertical Mill.
- Setup and programming of multiple details, prototype and small batch machining (no high volume production runs).
- Use of precision measuring tools.
- Hold tight tolerances.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma.
- Must be proficient on G and M code programming on FANUC control.
- Proven programming experience with Fusion 360 preferred.
- Proven with inspection and layout methods preferred.
- Ability to walk.
- Ability to speak verbally.
- Ability to see with corrective lenses.
- Ability to hear.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Able to work overtime, evenings and/or weekends as required.
- Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
- Normal hazards related to working in an office environment, manufacturing, and testing environment.
- Normal hazards related to road and air travel.
