Job Title: MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) Permanent Role

Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London Pay Scale) Dependent on experience

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a thriving and supportive secondary school in the Bromley area from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideally suited to an enthusiastic educator with the ability to teach French and/or Spanish to Key Stages 3 and 4. Ability to teach KS5 is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience).

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that inspires and challenges students.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and school events.

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and professional conduct.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish.

• Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school setting (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply).

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
