We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Unqualified Nursery Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Blackheath and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking to start a career in early years education. No qualifications are required — just a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine love for helping children learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support qualified staff in caring for children aged 0–5 years
  • Assist with play activities, mealtimes, and personal care routines
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • Always follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • No formal childcare qualification required
  • 6 months minimum experience working with children
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Reliable, friendly, and a good communicator
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this)
