About the Role
As our new SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised learning to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
- Work closely with our SENCO, support staff and outside agencies to create meaningful, structured learning experiences.
- Use adaptive teaching strategies and a nurturing approach to help each child thrive both academically and emotionally.
- Contribute to a positive, caring school culture where every pupil feels safe, valued, and supported.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (ECTs with SEND experience are welcome to apply).
- Has experience of working with children with SEND, either in a mainstream or specialist setting.
- Understands how to personalise learning effectively and can use assessment to guide progress.
- Brings enthusiasm, resilience and compassion to the classroom.
- Works well as part of a collaborative, skilled and supportive team.
