We are currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Blackheath , known for its exceptional sports facilities and strong sporting ethos .

This is a full-time teaching role that includes planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons both in the classroom and outdoors , supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5

  • Encourage participation and promote physical wellbeing

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school events

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level , ideally including KS5
