We are currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Blackheath , known for its exceptional sports facilities and strong sporting ethos .
This is a full-time teaching role that includes planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons both in the classroom and outdoors , supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 .
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5
Encourage participation and promote physical wellbeing
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school events
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience teaching PE at secondary level , ideally including KS5
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
Reliable, punctual, and professional
