We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is ready to take the next step in their career or who already has leadership experience within an early years setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a room team effectively
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Support staff development through mentoring and guidance
- Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher (essential)
- Proven leadership or room leader experience within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and caring approach
