An outstanding Academy is seeking multiple passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers to join their team on a permanent basis for the upcoming academic year.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment rooted in mutual respect.
Set challenging goals to stretch and motivate pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions.
Demonstrate secure subject knowledge of Maths and related curriculum areas, fostering and maintaining pupil interest while addressing misconceptions effectively.
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to impart knowledge and develop understanding.
Promote a love of learning and cultivate intellectual curiosity among students.
Set homework and upload it to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE); plan and oversee out-of-class activities that consolidate and extend pupil learning.
Understand and apply relevant assessment requirements, including statutory assessments.
Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor progress, set targets, and inform future lesson planning.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant undergraduate degree.
Successful teaching experience at the secondary level (teaching practice experience is acceptable), preferably including work in multi-ethnic urban schools and 11-18 age ranges.
Sound understanding of effective teaching and learning theories and practices.
Commitment to high expectations, equality of access, and inclusive education; willingness to take on tutor responsibilities.
Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements for KS3 and KS4, including lesson planning, resource development, and student assessment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Proficiency in ICT, including innovative use of interactive whiteboards and other digital teaching tools.
Capability to create a motivating, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Strong communication skills, including positive engagement with parents, carers, and external agencies as needed.
