The successful candidate will teach physical education to students across the 11-18 age range, contributing to both curriculum delivery and extra-curricular sports activities. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (ages 11-18) across a range of activities and sports. * Develop and implement innovative and engaging lesson plans, ensuring students' physical, social, and emotional development. * Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting individual learning needs. * Participate in extra-curricular sports activities, including coaching and organizing school sports teams. * Maintain high standards of behavior management and classroom discipline. * Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to develop cross-curricular initiatives. * Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and other school events as required. Essential Requirements: * Qualified PE Teacher with a degree in Physical Education or a related subject (QTS or equivalent preferred). * Experience teaching physical education at secondary school level (ages 11-18). * Strong understanding of the national curriculum for PE and current best practices in teaching physical education. * Ability to teach a range of sports and physical activities. * Passionate about promoting physical activity and fostering a positive attitude towards fitness and well-being in young people. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * Ability to engage students and create a positive learning environment.
