Link Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in the Snodland area.
We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors, who are looking to work day to day supply across Secondary Schools. The role will be across a mix of Schools in Snodland and surrounding areas.
Cover Supervisor: The Role
The Cover Supervisor will be expected to undertake the specified teaching role including delivering lessons and leading the classroom. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping your students interested and engaged with tasks in line with the national curriculum.
The right candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate and inspire students, working with both the other class teachers and teaching assistants.
Cover Supervisor: The Ideal Candidate

- A strong understanding of safeguarding
- The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering lessons with a strong knowledge of the curriculum.
- We expect our teachers to have the ability to manage a classroom properly and monitor behaviour appropriately.
- Confident in delivering lessons with a strong knowledge of the curriculum / specific subject.
- An understanding of SEN or experience managing challenging behaviour is desirable.
- A QTS is not required for this role but other qualifications in education and teaching are desirable.
- We are looking for a Cover Supervisor with strong knowledge of the curriculum and experience, undertaking the full specified role.
- Strong classroom experience / classroom experience referees
- All applicants must either have a valid Enhanced DBS check, registered with the DBS Update Service or, be willing to apply for a new one immediately upon shortlisting for this role.
- Be professional, reliable and punctual when attending bookings.
- This role requires experience in the UK and a confident understanding of safeguarding and the importance of safe practice in a Secondary school environment.
