SEN Teaching Assistant Nottingham City Centre Full-time | Long-term (with potential for permanent)
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN school in the heart of Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD and complex needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and tailored interventions
- Creating a safe, supportive and structured learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Previous SEN experience (school, specialist provision or relevant care setting)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, Health & Social Care or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- A calm, resilient and nurturing approach
