Engineering Team Leader £53,000 Grimsby Ref: LNK2098 Role: Our client is currently recruiting a Shift Engineering Team Leader or Supervisor to head up their existing team at their bespoke site. The successful candidate will be required to Lead the small existing team of maintenance engineers operating on shifts, This Engineering Team Leader role will provide hands on maintenance support, assist in breakdowns and planned maintenance. Duties: * Co-ordinate and lead site day to day activities * Work closely with the Engineering Manager and leadership team to achieve project completion * Ensure work is carried out in a timely manner keeping production down time to a minimum. * Assist in implementation of maintenance strategies on completion of project * Using all tools available to help identify future areas of improvement. * To provide knowledge support to the engineering team. * To take the lead in implementing improvement/installation projects identified across site * Working and supervising in-house and external parties * Be the leading point of contact on site and provide this support to the engineering team. Skills: * Supervision experience within an engineering environment. * Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace. * Multi skilled ability Electrically or Mechanicaly bias * Ability to improve standards and change team culture.
