Link2 are currently recruiting for an Engineering Administrator who is responsible for providing an efficient and effective administration service and support to the Current Engineering team on a day-to-day basis through a professional and customer orientated service to both internal and external customers.

  • Contractor Management and Compliance: Liaise with contractors daily to ensure adherence to site standards, enabling efficient workflow and supporting permit-to-work processes.
  • Engineering Administration and Systems Support: Manage and improve the CMMS & PPM system, ensure accurate data input/output in JDE, and perform general administrative tasks like shift reports, budget trackers, and filing.
  • Financial Administration: Handle engineering purchase orders (R&M and Capex), resolve related queries, and track engineering spend against budget.
  • Audit and Project Support: Maintain engineering service records for audits and provide administrative support for projects, including PUWER compliance.

Experience:

  • Educational and Technical Skills: GCSE ‘C’ or above in English and Maths, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and similar tools; knowledge of JDE is advantageous.
  • Administrative and Analytical Experience: 1-2 years of administrative support, with strong data manipulation and interpretation abilities. Previous CMMS experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Interpersonal and Teamwork Abilities: Proven experience working effectively in high-pressure environments, both independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Administer Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS): For work and parts and validate CMMS entries and offer feedback.
