Warehouse and Packing Operative Location: Needham Market, Suffolk (on-site) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Salary: From £24,000 per annum The Role We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse and Packing Operative to join our busy dispatch team and support our continued growth. As the final step before our products reach the customer, you'll play a vital role in making sure every order is picked accurately, packed to a high standard, and dispatched on time. From booking in stock to preparing shipments for our couriers, you'll help keep our warehouse running smoothly and our customers receiving the fast, dependable service we're known for. Key Responsibilities: Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to a consistently high standard. Prepare shipments for couriers, including printing labels and manifests and meeting daily dispatch deadlines. Book in incoming stock and check deliveries against purchase orders. Maintain stock accuracy through scanning and regular stock checks. Handle products with care to avoid damage and ensure orders arrive in perfect condition. Support the wider goods-in and goods-out processes as needed. Keep the warehouse clean, organised, tidy, and safe at all times. What We're Looking For Essential Skills and Attributes: Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic. Able to work at a good pace and to dispatch deadlines. Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including standing, lifting, and manual handling. Basic computer literacy for using scanning and order-processing systems. A team player who can also work well independently. Desirable Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, picking and packing, dispatch, or stock-control role. Familiarity with courier systems such as Royal Mail.
