Role Description
This is a full-time position based from our head office in Heysham for a Security Supervisor working from our 24 hour control department covering night shifts. The Security Supervisor will work night shifts overseeing security operations, carrying out welfare checks with staff throughout the night to ensure safety, and oversee the performance of security personnel out on the ground and in the control department. Responsibilities will also include conducting regular site inspections on sites, addressing security concerns, and ensuring all policies/procedures are strictly followed. The role also involves providing regular reports and updates to both clients and management while ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and effective delegation
- Experience in Physical Security and Operations Management, with a focus on enforcing security protocols and best practices
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, team members, and the public
- Ability to work on-site in Heysham in a full-time capacity
- Ability to travel to projects from North to Midlands
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Professional qualifications or certifications in security management are advantageous
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and solve problems under pressure
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and procedures
Rates of Pay - from £13.50 per hour
