About Lingfield Park Resort

Lingfield Park is one of the UK’s premier sporting and leisure destinations, offering a unique blend of horse racing, golf, and hospitality all in one stunning Surrey location. The Role: Greenkeeper

As a Greenkeeper at Lingfield Park, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards expected of both our golf course and grounds. You will work within a dynamic team to ensure all playing surfaces and surrounding areas are kept in pristine condition and are ready to welcome golfers and visitors all year round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all areas of the golf course and surroundings in line with best practices and company standards.
  • Manage and present fine turf areas (greens, tees, approaches) to the highest possible standard.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance schedules.
  • Support construction and renovation work on course features such as bunkers, tees, and greens.
  • Ensure clubhouse surroundings, car parks, lawns, and public spaces are clean, tidy, and well presented.
  • Maintain flower beds, planters, and hanging baskets where required.
  • Operate and maintain all turfcare machinery and equipment safely and as per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Keep paths, roadways, and communal areas clean and clear of rubbish.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a golf course or sports turf environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Turf Maintenance/Sports Turf Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence (clean).
  • PA1, PA2A & PA6 spraying certificates – advantageous.
  • Chainsaw qualifications – advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
